1. FINE-TUNING IN THE GARDEN:

My interest here goes further than a quick "snip n clip"

Gardens need balance and definition to show off the focal points that should stand out.
Roses, Orchids, Herbs, Vegetables and cut Flowers are readily
available with the proper light, water and soil, don't forget a heaping
tablespoon of experience and knowledge.

I concentrate on special effects in the garden such as Topiaries, Espaliers, and standards. I also shape Dwarf trees, Bonsais and Oriental pieces that act as specimens in their surroundings, rounding off and airing out trees is as much of a specialty of mine as making Palms look like they should when they sway in the tropic breeze.
Vines need to fit in as proper guests, not overtake their place in the garden.

I also Keep a schedule of the fertilization of blooming plants, Palms, Fruit trees, or Evergreen shrubs and trees. Pest,Fungus, Nematodes, Mites, Termites or White flies, etc. also need careful monitoring.
Ants, from white foot to sugar and fire ants can be controlled on the outside of the house with regular detection.

2. LANDSCAPE DESIGNS AND INSTALLATION:

Concentrating on space, Color and contrast. Renovating work or starting from scratch can lay a solid foundation for pleasant gardening for years to come. Low maintenance comes from smart planning.

3. FLORAL WORK:

High style garden or floral arrangements are constructed on site for almost any occasion. Having guests for dinner? There are usually plenty of plants in our own gardens that will make a nice show on the table or buffet for the evening. I make these arrangements regularly at the Convention Center on Palm Beach Lakes Blvd.

For years in estates in Palm Beach I have garnished their rooms with Helliconias, Gingers, Monstera Deliciosa, and other cut flowers and leaves that last two weeks or more from their own properties. In the spring and fall Gardenias are usually available to bring in their sublime aroma.

4. INTERIOR SCAPES:

Out of thousands of species of plants, there are less then ten family groups that do well inside.

5. PUBLIC SPEAKING:

Garden clubs, florist's meetings, native plant and other societies at the Mounts building, and garden centers have all enjoyed discussions on combining floral design, interior plants, maintenance short-cuts or color combinations that either shout for attention or blend complimentarily.
